Jeugland wants to achieve a dominant position in focus sports at provincial, national and international level, develop sports boys and -girls of a world-class standard; offer an excellent experience of school sport; promote participation in sport for recreational purposes; build a social network and enhance the percentage of sport boys and girls who also achieve academic success. Without it, it will be a challenge to practice, compete and ultimately reach your full potential. If you learn to manage tension correctly and even control the excitement, it can improve your mental state of mind when it comes time to compete.

Our main purpose with cross country at Jeugland is to make ' running ' and ' exercise ' for the athletes enjoyable. We want to cultivate a love for fitness that will become a way of life. We work on general fitness that holds an advantage for all sports. Cross country requires commitment and improves every athlete's self-esteem, self-discipline and purpose.
JEUGLAND CRICKET
Jeugland High School is known as one of the top cricket schools that have established a standard of excellence. An exciting cricket culture, established in strong values, discipline and cricket etiquette are maintained. In the process cricket has shown unprecedented growth in numbers backed by modern technology and top coaches. Come and become part of the cricket-“suk 6".
JEUGLAND GOLF
Golf is a sport that teaches you a variety of skills. It requires above-average self-discipline and concentration. Golfers get the opportunity to test their skills in a relaxed atmosphere together with fellow players. The value lies in the fact that players learn social skills in a competitive situation. They also compete against themselves at the same time and always seek to improve their own best scores.

Jeugland High School is well known in hockey circles as a force to be reckoned with. Maximum development is our priority and is implemented by professional coaches with goal driven development programmes. The Mini Astro is one of our facilities that we use to work on various facets of players. Jeugland Hockey’s success is built on our hockey players ' love for the game, hard work and team spirit.
JEUGLAND – JUKSKEI
This old, well-known sport is not forgotten at Jeugland High School. With the number of participants growing every year, Jukskei is very popular among the learners. Become part of the Jeugie- Jukskei family and come and try your hand at this popular sport.
JEUGLAND NETBALL
Jeugland’s Netball offers every girl the opportunity to develop the necessary netball specific, fitness and life skills, so that she can achieve her full potential. This will benefit herself, her team and her school. In our netball circle we aim to create an environment where each player can cultivate a lifelong love for healthy habits, such as regular exercise, fitness and sportsmanship. As our motto says, we aim for every player, every team, every coach, every official, every parent and every supporter.
JEUGLAND-RUGBY
Jeugland strive for excellence in two areas: the maximum development of the potential of every player, regardless of the team he plays for, and the exposure of each player to the most modern technology and methodology in coaching. So we comfortably reach the highest high.
The dynamic between professional coaching and the drive to develop, brings an enthusiasm and team spirit that is difficult to describe if you have not played rugby before. Rugby players has an active and disciplined lifestyle that help them to grow from strength to strength.
Jeugland participates in the NWU-series and the Virseker Cup annually. Various age groups go on tour toe the well-known Kwagga week in George, as well as a tour toe Hoërskool Oakdale.
JEUGLAND CHESS
Jeugland’s chess players have a remarkable track record of exceptional achievements, both on local and national they enjoy to place an opponent in check mate.
Every year, chess at Jeugland grows and become better and stronger. Jeugland’s 0/18 chess team is the 2019 NWU-Tournament champions. To achieve this they had to win 15 other schools.
Any Jeugie can play chess as an extra-curricular activity and chess players practice all year round.
Jeugland is privileged to have 4 players which are ranked on the Chess SA’s ranking list. We are very lucky as they are eager to teach new and fellow chess players to become better at their game.
JEUGLAND TARGET SHOOTING
Jeugland has been offering this unique air rifle sport for over 18 years and achieves outstanding achievements every year. We have already delivered 1 Senior Protea shooter, 5 Junior Proteas and many SANSSU shooters. We have affiliated 15 shooters at ESSU and SANSSU this year. Some of our shooters participate in GTRA and SAARA competitions, where fantastic results are also achieved.
Many Jeugies obtain provincial colours every year, and we boast many of them being included in SA schools teams. Our shooting equipment are of the best quality in the country, enabling us to participate and perform at a high competitive level.
We participate in two different classes: Sport and Precision class. Jeugland can also boasts about a Senior Protea coach who accompanied a senior team to Munich in 2011.
Shooting is a sport that is offered in three positions and requires a lot of self-discipline and concentration in all three facets. It cultivates endurance, cleanliness, balance, striving for success and self-driving competitive performance.
JEUGLAND - TENNIS
Jeugland is proud to say that every Jeugie, whether they are a future Novak Djokovic or Simona Halep, or just play in the “coke and chip team”, enjoy themselves fully.
We participate in the NWU Puk Series competition as well as the East Gauteng School League. In the PUK Series, Juniors and Seniors compete in a team. Mixed doubles are definitely something to the eye. Brute strength and beauty are a dangerous combination.
JEUGLAND - RING BALL
Jeugland's ring ball is growing in popularity year after year. We compete in three age groups ie, u/15, u/17 and u/18 both boys and girls. We believe that there is always room for learners to participate, so enrol a combined team of girls and boys where we do not have enough numbers for a team.
We are competing in the Ekhuruleni Northern League in the third quarter. Jeugland can also boast two learners who were selected to the national team in their categories during the National Championships in 2019.
